Fluorescent lamps

The fluorescent tubes represent a very economic source of lighting. The tubes may be used independently at voltages of 110, 127 and 230V, and in series with two tubes at 230V AC.
Igniting the lamps requires a starter and ballast or electronic circuit device. Only the use of an appropriate starter will ensure ignition. We recommend that the used tubes be replaced with the appropriate starter.

Colour Temperature of a Light Sources Colour temperature of a light source is defined as the temperature of a black body radiating the same spectral distribution in the visible area as the light source and also having the same colour as the light source. Therefore, colour temperature indicates colour, not temperature.
