Colour Rendering (Reproduction)

Colour rendering (reproduction) is by definition the effect of a light source on the colour of an object, illuminated by the source, and compared with the colour of the same object illuminated by a reference light (e.g. daylight). The measure of this effect is the colour rendeing index (reproduction) Ra, with a maximum value of Ra=100.
